RL37 Selene

In the ink heart of the night a wonderful silver moonbean shimmer in the sky… the moonbean is thin and gentle and seems to hide a mystery… Perhaps also you could see her in transparency …. She is the spirit of Selene, the Moon goddess … Long dark hair, black like the heart of the night, and a romantic dress full of shimmering blue shades and purple ribbons…. Selene is the sister of Aurora and with her she share the long black hair and the stunning dress... Selene is the greek name of the The Roman moon goddess, Luna, and you have to know that “Luna” had a temple on the Aventine Hill. It was built in the sixth century BC, but was destroyed in the Great Fire of Rome during Nero's reign. There was also a temple dedicated to Luna Noctiluca ("Luna that shines by night") on the Palatine Hill. There were festivals in honor of Luna on March 31, August 24 and August 29
