The Angel Quilt Project (AQP), formerly known as The Angel Afghan Project, founded 27 January 2000, is a group of stitchers dedicated to stitching center panels to be finished into quilts. The completed pieces are then donated to hospitals all over the world. We send to NICU's, Childrens Cancer Clinics and Regional Burn Centers for Children under 10 years of age. The hospitals have been nominated by members of the AQP and by others on the cross stitch bulletin boards on the Internet.
Members in the AQP now reside in: The United States, Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Gibraltar, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Cyprus, Bermuda, South Africa, Mauritius, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malta, Italy, Columbia, Fiji, France, Israel, Chile, Belgium and Austria.
There are Divisions of the Angel Quilt Project in the UK/Europe, Australia, Canada, and the main group here in the United States. If you are interested in joining the project please get in touch with the head of the appropriate division.

The Angel Quilt Project (AQP), formalmente conosciuto come The Angel Afghan Project, è stato fondato il 27 gennaio 2000, è un gruppo di ricamatrici che eseguono il ricamo centrale per poi montarlo in maniera definitiva come copertina. Queste copertine vengono poi donate agli ospedali di tutto il mondo! Vengono mandate soprattuto negli ospedali e nelle cliniche per i bambini ammalati di cancro e per le terapie intensive e per i centri di accoglienza di bambini sotto i 10 anni di età .

Questi ospedali o centri vengono segnalati direttamente dalle associate dell’Angel Quilt Project sui forum in internet. Le associate a questa stupenda iniziativa risiedono in tutti questi stati: U.S.A , Canada, Mexico, Inghilterra, Scozia, Galles, Irlanda, Gibilterra, Spagna, Olanda, Germania, Danimarca, Norvegia, Cipro, Bermuda, Sud Africa, Mauritius, Singapore, Australia, Nuova Zelanda, Tailandia, Filippine, Hong Kong, Malta, Italia, Colombia, Fiji, Francia, Israele, Cile, Belgio ed Austria.
