Dicembre è il mese invernale per eccellenza, forse anche il più buio per le giornate sempre più corte… Ma da noi, come anche nei paesi nordici, prima che arrivi la notte di Natale, c’è un giorno speciale , il 13 dicembre, dove si celebra lo spirito della luce, S.Lucia, il primo spirito di Natale, che porta i doni ai bimbi e che simboleggia la stella della speranza e la stella luminosa di Dio… Così è come immagino questo spirito… bellissimo nel suo abito adorno di stelle dorate, ricco e luccicante, come solo gli spiriti buoni sanno essere…. L’augurio è che accenda di magia e di pace le vostre dimore…Buon Natale , dal profondo del mio cuore…..

December in the north of Italy is month of greetings and darkness, because the light during the day disappear around the 4.30-5.00 in the afternoon… So we celebrate on December, 13, the first spitirt of Christmas and Light: St. Lucia… I can remember my childwood , when St. Lucia brought me a little gift, the first gift before Christmas and Santa Claus… For our religion St. Lucia is the spirit of Jesus Light and Hope… This beauty and young lady devoted to Jesus Christ, was injured by an Antique Roman Soldier that kept her from the light with a hot sword near her eyes... S. Lucia became blind, but Jesus give her 2 star for eyes and His Holy Star Light .... She brings the light of the Lord, and the Hope as first messenger and spirit of Christmas…...May her Holy Star bless your soul and you home!
